Windows Hosting
Windows Hosting is another powerful web hosting service that we have offered since 2000. Don’t mistake the blue screen of death with the Windows Server product line. It’s a different animal.
Why do I want Windows Hosting?
Websites that have been built on Enterprise level applications using ASP pages, ASP.NET, or .NET will only be able to host this on a Windows server with Hosting.ca.
Some legacy systems may also have their databases using Microsoft Access will also need a Windows Server as well.
As Linux is open source, Windows is a completely commercial product. This means that Windows hosting plans will cost more. Both are equally robust platforms, serving totally different purposes.

Windows Web Hosting Questions
System updates are frequent and we make sure they are done often. However we minimize downtime by doing scheduled reboots after business hours. Stability-wise, Windows Servers are as stable as the Linux Web Hosting counterpart.
In addition to the MySQL databases, we support a variant of MS SQL versions as old as MS SQL 2000, all the way up to MS SQL 2016. If you have any legacy application that is hosted on an older SQL server, please contact us.
All Windows plans are supporting PHP, ASP, ASP.NET scripting languages.
