Price Increase Effective January 2024

For more than 20 years now, Hosting.ca has been supporting customers with their web hosting services for over 20 years.

In 2023, and more so than ever in 2024, inflation has impacted everyone’s daily lives. It affects business across the board, but the impact on data centre operations, software and human resources is unprecedented. We understand that any price adjustment can be challenging for our customers, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly and was delayed for as long as possible to minimize the impact on our valued customers.

We have always tried to maintain our pricing so our customers can enjoy our services without the worry of annual increases. In fact, this is our first price increase since opening in 1997. While most business just tack on a flat fee inflation increase annually, we have held off for many years. However year over year our rent has increased. The cost of electricity has consistently gone up. In fact it has been reported that there will be a 2.5 – 4.5% increase in 2024.

In this economic landscape of skyrocketing inflation, we know that these price increases will have consequences for both you and your customers. Due to these exceptional times, we will need to increase our prices. The price change will take effect on 01 January 2024.
